The AV simplex frequencies are also for DV use however based on previous 2m DMR radios the following have been used - 144.6000 , 144.6125 (offical calling channel) , 144.625

Re: MD9600 First impressions...

Just noticed the same issue whilst listening to a qso on my DM4600 and the MD9600.

I have however been told that my Tx audio quality on the MD9600 is no different to that via the DM4600 which is good to hear.

Re: MD9600 CPS 1.18 VFO Mode Bug

Sounds good. I've just revamped the shack in order to make space for 2 mobiles and 6 handhelds and now just updated all radios firmware. I'll be updating the HT-500D code plug in 2 weeks once all NoV's have been issued as there are a few more to go. I can then test it on the HT-500D and MD9600 as I ...

Re: MD9600 CPS 1.18 VFO Mode Bug

Does the handheld code plug transfer direct into the mobile?

Also have the number of contacts in the MD9600 been increased to match the handheld?

Re: Dual Band Tier 2 DMR VHF/UHF Thread

The password issue with the CPS is being fixed - have a look at the "Radioddity Two Way Radio" FB Group. Setting up a code plug is not hard, just a bit longer to do without the import/export function which will be added - see FW/CPS update plan below. As for my radio, I got it off Amazon (...

Re: Dual Band Tier 2 DMR VHF/UHF Thread

I have now got the radio to work. It requires a few key presses and a code to unlock some of the vital features in the CPS such as Admit Criteria and TOT. The CPS is still a bit of a mess - it has the dual line display like the TYT/Retevis dual band but doesn't have to members to add channels to. Au...

Re: Dual Band Tier 2 DMR VHF/UHF Thread

This radio sounds like more of a mission than it's worth. I've put mine back in the box until I get feedback from Radioditty who also have a copy of my code plug. Having done numerous code plugs across numerous manufacturers, I have always stuck to creating them in a set routing (1) add the contacts...

Re: Dual Band Tier 2 DMR VHF/UHF Thread

Paul, I received mine on Thursday and having pre-written a code plug I thought I'd be able to test it. First off, there's a proper 3 pin plug with the usb connector on it similar to a mobile phone plug that comes with a lead to plug in so that issue is solved. I have CPS 1.1.2 which has the greyed o...

Re: Dual Band Tier 2 DMR VHF/UHF Thread

Got a sample of the Radioditty GD-77 on it's way with DHL - ETA is Thursday PM.

I've done a basic code plug to cover my hotspot as well as analogue/digital simplex and repeaters.

I'll post my thoughts once I've got it up and running.

Re: Dual Band Tier 2 DMR VHF/UHF Thread

Was surprised to hear that all the Moonraker radios are GPS and the ML&S radios aren't. They are the same radio and case - Moonraker just have their branding and model number added to the case and manual. Apart from the trackball (which can be locked with the latest FW), the radio works well. I ...
