Re: Slot, talk group and reflector usage on BM

In theory, yes - they could use any slot. An out there, as long as the braai stays alight, it doesn't matter if it rains. Info on BM and exactly how it works is sketchy as it was to be an "open network" but then as problems popped up different countries and keepers adopted their own routin...

Re: Slot, talk group and reflector usage on BM

The general layout is for TG9 S2 to be used for reflectors and TG9 S1 for local comms. Repeater Keepers decide what TG's are "static" on their repeater - in theory you can key in any TG you want as they are all accessible as User Active. You shouldn't upset any of the locals - DMR is not a...

DMR Guide

There will be a few polls going up over a period of months on the DMR-UK.Net - Phoenix UK Users Group, in order to gather data towards the next edition of the DMR Guide that was published a few months ago (http://www.dmr-uk.net/index.php/about-dmr/) Some feedback was received (mainly from newbies to...

GB7BJ - MALVERN

As posted on the ETCC Website:

GB7BJ at Malvern

is now linked to the Phoenix network. Before we decide to reconnect to the Salop Cluster as before, comments from users would be helpful re the possiblity of limited user demand access to the Phoenix Network.

GB7BJ - MALVERN

The above repeater is now live on the Phoenix UK Network.

It's been placed in region 870 which is aligned with it's ETCC region (despite being in the SW) with GB7HM and GB7PN.

Re: MD9600 First impressions...

Just noticed the same issue whilst listening to a qso on my DM4600 and the MD9600.

I have however been told that my Tx audio quality on the MD9600 is no different to that via the DM4600 which is good to hear.
