Ofcom - Licence Validation

Advising that Ofcom will start to revoke licences that have not been validated by the holder. You need to do this every 5 years to keep the licence validated. Noted....Looks like it is the 'fist mic mod' that is he prime solution at the moment.

Have you tried to use the echo server to hear what you actually sound like on the network?

I have experienced similar issues and found much improved TX audio using an external fist microphone. They are widely available and not expensive. There is a service menu that you can access. Wouxun DMR

Looks like Wouxun will be entering the DMR market with the KG-D901. Not too much information about at the moment and no price or availability details. A web search will show a couple of images and basic details. I hope the programming software is better than the TYT....

The repeater will be networked but just how is still under discussion by the group. I'll update when I know more.

DMR Live Monitor Query

I use the cc-3.net live monitor to look at how my signal is being received by whatever repeater I an accessing. I filter it for my call and so far it has kept a record of all my activity since I started using the network.

I was wondering how long the system keeps activity records for?
