Re: Change to GB7GT?

There is some engineering work taking place on both GB7GT and GB7OZ. Normal service will be resumed in the near future.

Re: Taken the plunge!

Terry, Welcome to the world of DMR :D Another hotspot option you might like to consider is the DV Mega with one of the BlueStack boards. No need for a Raspberry Pi at all and easy to use away from the home. You do need an Android device, phone or tablet, to run the free BlueSpot app, but much simple...

GB7OZ (Oswestry) Operational

GB7OZ went live at 3.30pm on Thursday 7th April 2016. It's located to the NW of Oswestry with the aim of filling a gap in the SALOP and Borders DMR Cluster. High ground to the North and West of the repeater means that the predicted coverage will be to the SE of the site, towards Oswestry and Shrewsb...

Re: GB7GT & GB7BX

The linking of GB7HM Hope Mountain to the SALOP Net (GB7BX & GB7GT) remains in place after the successful trial over the weekend. Coverage is excellent so if you are in the area give a call on TG9 Local TS1 (yes, that's TS1) or the linked Regional TG950 TS2. GB7BJ Bromyard and GB7OZ Oswestry are...

Re: GB7GT & GB7BX

GB7HM linked to the SALOP Net (GB7GT and GB7BX) for testing this weekend (27-28 Feb 2016) - using TG950 TS2 as the linked Regional TG. Sounds like it's working very well. For existing users of HM, please bear in mind that when TG950 on S2 is in use, it will effectively 'block' the normal TG9 S2 so i...

Re: Hi from Wrexham

Hi there Dave, Yes, quite a few changes over the last 18 months or so. GB7HN Hope Mountain will be your local DMR repeater. It's no longer connected to the wider MARC/Phoenix network but we have a good group of local users on TG9 TS2 so do give us a shout. I don't know what the longer term plans are...

Re: www.cc-3.net hacked ???

Cryptic remarks but no information. A bit more to this than work in progress maybe?

Re: GB7HM Disconnected from Phoenix network

No, just a sensible decision based on what local users want - and more particularly what users don't want. Whatever direction GB7HM takes, it will be a relief to escape all that nonsense being dictated by a few individuals. GB7HM is one of my local repeaters and I've had some nice QSO's today - incl...
