Postby mi3uty » Sun Jan 03, 2016 12:15 am

i have all my info on my dp3601 problem is i want to put it on to my tyt md380 the motorola cps has the files saved in ctb format and the 380 cps will not show then, is there anyway i can transfer from the motorola cps in to the 380 cps with out having to spend hours manually putting everything in?

If only .... :(

I see that this is your first post here mi3uty, so welcome.

Unfortunately there doesn't appear to be an easy way to do what youre looking for. The only thing I can suggest is load a current MD380 codeplug (codeplugcentral.com is a good place to start) and modify it to your requirements as necessary - at least that way much of the data should already on board.

I have only uploaded CS750 and Hytera PD365 codeplugs, there are no TYT / Tytera codeplugs here on this site. I have heard that CS700 codeplugs can be converted to MD380 and visa versa.
MI3UTY it looks like you would be operating through GB3OM and/or GB7LY, I am sure someone with a MD380 could write you a 2 Zone codeplug to get you started..

Be warned that adding your own radio to a Safety of Life Service radio system is a big no-no, all it would take is a slight mistake in programming and you could interfere with communications and in a worst case cost someone their life.. Don't do it :|
