PD375

Postby rm05 » Wed Jan 27, 2016 3:07 pm

Anyone got one? There's a vid on YT where it's described as "a vast improvement over the previous one" (the PD365) but from what I can tell it's just the 365 with an extra 10 Mhz coverage above 470 MHz? Unless I'm missing something, it looks to be just cosmetic differences otherwise including no lanyard hole on the antenna?

From what I have read the specs are the same as the PD365 and AFAIK uses the same CPS and accept the same firmware. Sometimes companies like to be seen to bring out new models..

Yes, that vid confirms that. I do think it looks a little nicer, but I personally wouldn't pay more for one.

My PD365 is not broken yet, so I won't be buying one..

I managed to get a PD375 as I was looking at the 365 version and found them basically the same price from one dealer and cheaper from my main dealer I have a lot of Hytera kit and fancied a try of these and was not disappointed they work well and have proved great for the size I run hotel security teams and covert Close Protection teams training at all levels and these are smart but discreet in use they guys love them in the hotel scenarios.
We use the X1p for Close Protection which is still my best kit I love to use but these are nice easy and very good audio we tried one against the 365 and found slightly improved range and audio when tested side by side in the working environment we use them in.

Good kit
