PD785 Beeps

Postby Pete_uk » Sun Feb 28, 2016 11:24 am

There is the option to use 'custom tones' within the CPS which I would guess allows me to change the beeping that goes on when the radio starts to put out audio as well as when the audio of a transmission stops. Does anyone have any experience of using this as it gets a bit of a pain with the noises it makes at the moment!

thanks

Have not had any experience on this radio, but I am sure if you save your current codeplug you can play with the tones and see how you get on, if you screw up you can re-load your saved codeplug.
I have a copy of the Hytera 785 CPS and yes you can change both the tones volume and the tones composition, just remember they sound different on the computer from the radio..

I stumbled across the settings soon after. Quite a few of them can be changed on the radio itself. :D Got to change some of the volume settings....

You can pretty much make your own jingle for just about anything
