UK Repeater Spreadsheet

Postby Tone » Sun Jan 25, 2015 6:26 am

I've knocked up a couple of files. One is a spreadsheet which has all DMR repeaters, functional, semi functional and under vetting. There is also a channel table and the beginnings of a Talkgroup list.
The other file is a kmz for Google Earth which is a spin off from the spreadsheet.
There will inevitably be errors so I will be correcting and updating it in the coming weeks.

Tone, Thanks for this spreadsheet - it's a nice addition to the library of DMR information that is being posted on this forum.

That's a good point, I noticed that CT & CW pointed to roughly the same tower. There was also a mention of GB7BR which came form somewhere or other. I'm hoping we can use GB7BR for Brighton's DMR repeater to go along side GB7BR. I've updated the spreadsheet to denote redundant data so that can in the fullness of time be kicked into the long grass.
I attempted to attach .kmz earlier, but this forum does not allow files with that file extension. I'll attach the updated spreadsheet in any case.

Cheers Paul, .kml and kmz are useful formats for sharing geodata.

Here's this week's roundup to bring us up to date with the spreadsheet. As well as two more repeaters in prospect, I've added a pivot table which shows occupancy levels of the various channels, as well as a handy links tab.

I'm following this on FB. It would be good to know which repeaters represent the 75% although I suppose that this will filter through eventually.
