GB7MR - Licensed

Postby Paul-2E0SQK » Mon Jun 08, 2015 6:10 pm

Just to let you all know that GB7MR is now Licensed but as of this post not on air yet.

Once I have it confirmed its on air and the right details for it I will add it to the full list of repeaters and post a new repeater post unless someone beats me to it

The repeater was installed last week and is operational. As well as the usual talkgroups, MR also has TG862, linked on roaming with repeaters in Yorkshire and designed to allow continuity along the M62 corridor either side of the Pennines.

Coverage seems pretty good so far. I was monitoring from Oulton Park over the weekend, just on the edge of the coverage map and it was solid audio if a bit weak on the meter at c. -116dBm on my handheld.

I'm sure someone will post full info for codeplugs in due course.

Hi

A post for MR being on air has gone up in the new repeaters section and the full list of details will be being posted in the next day or two in the full list of repeaters. It is on the list of things to put on here so will appear in due course for people to add into there codeplugs
