I've emailed the seller (M0AQC) to ask if anybody has tried it with MD380 and will let you know what he says.
I think you will find those are for mobiles not portables, you need both pins and you
will need a speaker wired , as when you plug the two pins in it cuts off the internal one

Well spotted! I'll get my coat... :(

I've purchased two of those - one with a plug for my Yaesu FT7900 and another with no plug which I'm going to wire up for my DM4600.

They work well - I've had no issues with the FT7900 and the seller (Alan) is good to deal with.

I had my last one done with 7m of cable to reach to the boot where the DM4600 radio is (I have a separation kit) and paid via Paypal.

He included a breakdown of the wiring since there was no plug attached.

Sorry Mike, you cannot use just the one pin, as you need the second pin for the connection
for the PTT and if you then connect both pins you have switched off the internal speaker

If you use a 3.5mm stereo plug for the microphone and the antenna ground connection for the PTT ground there is no need to use a 2.5mm plug, so the internal speaker can be used..
