Just bought a Tytera MD-390 Firmware Questions?

Hello all,

Glad there's a forum around :)

Anyway, mate told me to get the MD-390 as that's the latest one....

Thing is he says he has the firmware etc. for it....

Is it out? I have bought the right one? as all i can see is tuts etc. CFW for the MD-380.

Is it just me, or is the launch of a new model coincidence just as people are getting excited about opening the 380s and making them do interesting things.

ah looking on the yahoo group then it says "MD-380 and MD-390 use the same exact programming software"

So it seems, just a larger battery and a different case..

HI.
Real difference will be in april or may 2016 with the MD390 WITH gps.

hey guys well it arrived! wow...that was fast!

So loaded the firmware onto it and also loaded a code-plug....

don't seem to be getting many channels to listen too???

So press scan and check the list and lost of separate channels are listed so cool scan away.....but don't get many?

Any ideas?

Thanks for the reply....

I'm based in the North East of England.

I've tried a few plugins...and yeah well get a little bit of chat from a coupld of zones but that's about it....

been using a plug in called "TYT MD 380 NE UK PMR Scanner Forum Code Plug"

just it's deadly quite......
