New to DMT

Postby KevG4XLO » Tue Jun 28, 2016 8:13 am

Hi All

I am really new to the DMR setup after toying with the idea for several months.

I bit the bullet and bought a Tytera MD380 that was pre programmed with the GB7FW repeater in Birmingham, so far I am really impressed with it as the 1st QSO was to Brisbane and followed by New York City.

I live in Birmingham and intend to take it mobile in the car - can anyone help me with information how I program it for GB7GT the Clee Hill repeater please?

Any help greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Firstly, make a copy of the code plug that's in the radio in the event something goes wrong, then you can upload it.

I'd suggest making a copy of the GB7FW entries into a new zone for GB7GT then change the frequencies, colour code and entry names to reflect GT.
